Wilpattu National Park is Sri Lanka’s largest and one of its oldest wildlife reserves, distinguished by its unique network of natural lakes known as “villus.” The park offers excellent opportunities to spot leopards, sloth bears, elephants, deer and a wide variety of bird species, while its remote landscapes provide a quieter safari experience compared to more crowded parks.
